Afghanistan – and the 1st “Global Shuffle”

Afghanistan
On September 15, 2008, we featured Afghanistan and played variety of Afghan traditional and folk music from its diverse ethnic regions. This day also marks the beginning of “Global Shuffle” segment which is an interesting project on Continental Drift show. We have been searching the cyberspace for independent folk musicians from around the world to bring half an hour of unique and new international music to you. As a result of this we created a Myspace page to keep track of our new musician friends. Visit our Myspcae pageĀ to see who’s who: http://www.myspace.com/continentaldriftshow
