China – Produced by Mia Kelly
China with its diversity, history, varieties, and geographical span is perhaps one of the hardest countries to cover on a radio show such as ours. Chinese are well-known for being vigorous about preserving their traditional culture and music is no exception. This edition of Continental Drift was co-produced by one of our listeners in Miami. She is a very talented artist and poet and you can see some of her art works here . The playlist of the show starts with some traditional and folk music then it moves on to Chinese percussion and flute songs and ends with some contemporary and pop music from China.
