Latin American music has roots from all over. No country has a single distinct sound, as is evident in tonight’s ep
isode, where the music of the Dominican Republic was featured. It was also the new co-host’s (Felipe’s) first show! Dominican music of each kind was played, including palo, merengue, bachata, and even Dominican hip-house! Big names like Johnny Ventura and Juan Luis Guerra dominate the music scene, but even they have to be influenced by someone! This musical whirlwind of past and present Dominican tunes was hard not to dance to!
