When Sahand is away, Felipe will play some more music! This week, we visit the country of Wales, whose reputation as a musically oriented country earned it the nickname “the land of song.” We bring you music both traditional and contemporary, both in English and Welsh, which, by law, are the two languages that every road sign must display in this country! The music scene is diverse, ranging from choirs, to orchestras, from good old rock ‘n’ roll, and everything in between. Welsh music has graced the world stage in many occasions, and having visited Wales this past summer, Felipe likes nothing more than sharing the sounds of the land referred to as Cymru by the locals.

Also make sure to check out this edition of Global Shuffle where featured the music of our friends on MySpace.com.
