			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although last week&#8217;s show was nonexistent due to circumstances beyond our control, we plan to make up for it with <img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-630" title="300px-Mongolian_Musician" src="http://www.continentaldriftshow.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/300px-Mongolian_Musician-225x300.jpg" alt="300px-Mongolian_Musician" width="225" height="300" />a show not from one country, but a whole continent featuring string instruments from that region! Asia is home to a diverse array of musical styles and instruments, and this show features voices such as the Morin Khuur, the Gu Zheng, the Koto, and the Pipa, just to name a few. The playlist was selected carefully to highlight each of the instruments somewhat equally that are unique to Earth&#8217;s largest continent. We hope the musical education and journey and enjoyable for you!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Last week a group of Koreans dressed in traditional Korean costumes were sharing information and literature about their culture and country at the Skills on Georgia Tech campus and we were very lucky that they accepted our invitation to join us in the studio to discuss different aspects of the Korean culture and music. One of our guests was Shelly Tyson who is a Korean-American English teacher currently living in South Korea and also a member of the &#8220;<strong>Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project</strong>&#8220;, <a href="http://www.kscpp.net" target="_blank">KSCPP</a>. Her enthusiasm about Korean culture grew very strong when she went for a Summer study abroad to Korea. On this edition of Continental Drift, Shelly talked about a wide range of topics such as Korean arts and jewelry, history, ancient inventions, food, traditional and modern famous Korean singers and songs and much more which you can find out more by visiting <a href="http://www.kscpp.net" target="_blank">KSCPP</a> and downloading free books.
